Issue appears to be that the 'compare' on the VARIABLE, QUALITY and VARCON tables appears to actually overwrite in to prod.
We would like to test this on UAT, however we are unsure the script works there or is up to date.
I am also not convinced it is behaving the same in the Thiess import environment (a FOX PRO db) as it is with the Prod/sql environment.
Emma is also concerned that the active flag on the GW sites was effected by the last import.
Peter sent an email on the 25/10/13 from the Kisters support email address with more info on this problem.
